Paradise II was opened in January 1998. From the outset, the studio was designed to maximise the effectiveness of running a professional studio. We have thousands of designs to choose from by many artists, but also offer freehand tattooing for that exclusive, one-off design. All tattoo work is discussed thoroughly with the customer beforehand, with as much assistance given as possible before the actual work is started.

All tattoo work and piercing is carried out using the most up-to-date methods of sterilisation available such as autoclave sterilisation, ultrasonic cleaning and disposable products.

Although we are happy to do walk-in work wherever possible, we tend to work by appointment as we feel that most people prefer not to have to sit about waiting all day. Instead, the customer can call in, choose the required design, go away and think about it... then simply turn up at the arranged time and walk out with exactly what he or she wants.

We can also offer original airbrushed shirts. These vary in price depending on the design. In addition. we can also airbrush onto your own garments. All are original and are fixed into the material. Fading will only take place as with regular dyed garments.

Bob has been tattooing for about 17 years now, mainly in the Halifax area. He set up Paradise City Tattoos in Feb '92, but relocated after 5 years when the original premises proved to be just too small. To offer a truly professional tattooing environment, Bob teamed up with fellow artist Tat to design and build Paradise II. Bob's favourite type of work is custom, whether it be a full back design or something the size of a fingernail. Several of his customers have received awards for work that he has done for them.

Tat has been involved in the tattoo business for over twenty years. He started out in his own studio, "Lion Tattoos" and has also worked in various other studios including the world famous "F.T.A." studio in Germany. After returning to the U.K., Tat joined forces with Bob to open Paradise II. Tat particularly enjoys recreating images drawn by some of the best tattoo artists in the world.

As well as the tattooists, Paradise II also offers the professional piercing skills of Steve Wheeler. An experienced piercer, Steve offers his customers all the hygienic surroundings and privacy that you would expect from a professional studio. He is also very happy to discuss fully the various kinds of piercing available from standard ear rings to tongue, nipple and genital piercings. A full price list can be found on the piercing page.
